I've heard it a few times now, and to be honest i don't think it's that great. It sounds the same as most of there other songs and really doesn't stand out anyway
What do you think?
What do you think?
"You and Wilson have my skills, Mr Hayden. In return, I received a taste for Radiohead and an encyclopedic knowledge of pornographic knock-knock jokes. Yes, I'd like to switch back if possible"

Yeah, something like that.
Whay are there so many songs with names like that? There's layla, lola, and too (i.e leela and lula)

It is in fact called Lyla as bradley said and as usual Oasis have produced the goods. First time i heard it i thought it was average but each time i listen it gets better. It has really grown on me. I think the video is pretty funky too. And it is quite a bit different to other stuff they have done. Just because the vocals sound the same doesn't mean the song is. Noel said about the song "It's The Who" and I for one believe him.
He also gave this fantastic quote as usual:
"If somebody said to me, in twelve years you’ll be in a band with your brother and two carrot munching geezers who don’t like football, I would've said 'f**k off, I’m not joining the Bee Gees."

i just can't get into it. It's unoriginal and a bit dull.
Oasis were much, much better creativity-wise when Paul Weller was hanging about. Whomever the fuckwit that fell out with him was, it was a major mistake.

I've finally heard a decent recording of the new single and it's not bad. I wasn't that keen when I first heard it but it has started to grow on me. It's not Live Forever or Wonderwall but it's better than a lot of the rubbish thats out there at the moment.

Yeah, I'm joining the (possibly ignorant) masses who think that this song is pretty uninspiring and INCREDIBLY repetitive. It's a shame because Oasis have been responsible for some quality tuneage, but recently I've been less and less impressed by their work as the only recentish song that i've liked has been The Hindu Times

Oasis should have a song called 'song' in which they medley all of their songs, but I guess that's every song they ever do.

To be fair is probably more of a decent song than much else in the top ten at the minute.

can somebody explain the deep and meaningful title "don't believe the truth" to me because in my opinion it's usually a good idea to believe the truth, you can make better judgements
