urgh...

Peter Lindgren, Opeth. i beauty of opeth's guitars. really suits the music. (progressive death metal for those who dont know)

Mårten Hagström, Meshuggah. for sheer technicality and odd time signatures.

Bryant Clifford Meyer, Isis and Red Sparowes. manages to make muisc twice as epic as any other guitarist ive heard.

Stephen O'Malley, Sunn O))), Khanate, Lotus Eaters. just cause he can crush your brain.
FLATLANDS - Vermuyden
"Flatlands stand up there as leaders of the pack" - Ninehertz
"Comparable to Capricorns and Neurosis in terms of quality and substance" - Load of Noise
"One of the most dense noise making behemoths in the UK" - Gin Tramp

AOTEA - Apocalypse in Transmetropolita
"Mike Patton's head on a bad acid trip" - Rock-a-Rolla
"Intensely eerie and brilliantly atmospheric. World Beaters" - Raw Nerve
"Brutally original. Scarily innoative. Obscurely Flawless!" - Gin Tramp

FROM THE SKY - Like Crystal in a World of glass
"Sheer bliss!" - The Silent Ballet
"Unadulterated instrumental epics" - Rock Sound

Paul Hale - Stalker, not many people have heard of this guy but i am sure he has got to be one of the most technically advanced guitarists in the UK at least, absolutely incredible and only around the age of 20 also

Malcolm Young, obviously always in the shadow of his bro Angus, but a good guitar player nevertheless.

Rafael Bittencourt of angra is better than most lead guitarists in most bands but is overshadowed by kiko.

viv, you're an underrated guitarist :(

Definately Tremonti. He is an awesome guitarist but never got the chance to show too much of his skills in Creed. Now hes in Alter Bridge the awesome solos and mega riffs have come out and just to add to it his songwriting is great too. Definately listen to him.

Wolf Hoffmann out of Accept. He plays as if without any effort and created some amazing riffs. He deserves to be in most guitar top ten. Not just because i bumped into him in the airport. Man i aint been starstruck before but jesus i didnt know what to say.
