just asking for a little help: on photoshop, how does one, having used the pen tool to cut something out, then make it so the cutting path affects the actual image? every time i press copy, i get a copy of the cutting path, not the image behind it. if you understand, please reply to this... i used to know how it worked, but haven't used photoshop in ages and thus have forgotten. thanks.

what the fuck are you using the pen tool to cut shit out? just use the Lasso (or other select) tool! and make sure you select the right layer
