Fairly self-explanatory methinks...

I dislike both Labour and conservative. I would vote liberal, but to be honest I don't think they're any good. I would also like to make the point that in this country all of the major parties seem to just be another shade of grey, and I don't think it really matters who we vote in (apart from extremists), as it really won't affect us overall one way or the other

Yea, I find my problem is that all the major parties represent at least some of my views but also some things I really don't like - as such I really don't feel I can make a decision, so i probably won't vote...

i'll be voting Lib Dem. It was Labour's to lose, and the war in Iraq did just that for them.
Labour have got a good record and if I didn't reckon the Lib Dems would form a government with more integrity and a more centre-left attitude, I'd be content to vote Labour.

For those saying whoever is elected, makes no difference, you are mistaken in my opinion. remember you are voting for your local MP, not for tony blair/the vampire/charles 'the daddy' kennedy; a local MP can hold different stances concerning local issues to the ones held by the party, and will help shape the world you actually live in, which can't really be said of the PM.

This is very true, but again, i don't think it will make that much difference whether your local MP is labour or conservative (or lib dem, but let's face it, that's not happening)

I mean sure, there will be some differences, but what does it really matter if you get one more hospital instead of 5 more buses, or vice versa. No party is gonna do anything extreme simply out of fear of driving people away

dunno where you live but all over the country many constuencies are expecting a lib dem MP (be it hold or convert) so y "or lib dem, but let's face it, that's not happening" - i agree the lib dems may not get to lead the country but they sure as hell can lead your constituency.

i dunno, it depends what on. A Tory MP for example will be under greater pressure to not spend any money on community projects or the local hoispital, so he can cut council tax. for example.

the main reason why i dont care is because it doesnt affect ME much. i dont work, own a house, pay taxes etc and i never really have money problems in my current situation (note: this doesnt mean i go round buying everything i want and wasting money on stuff i dont need).

i most probably will care by the time im working or maybe when im at university.

No I didn't - the question was who WOULD you vote for so it doesn't matter if you're not english or not old enough...and if you don't care then presumably you wouldn't vote so you'd select that option...sorry if the poll was too complicated

i may be biased but I feel the Lib Dems generally focus on the 18-25 age range and that this time around the 18-25 age range is focusing on them

go to: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/vot...ues/default.stm for a pretty good summary of the 3 main parties' stances on different issues

a quick comparison table can be found at http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/vote2005/is...=LD_UK&x=9&y=11

why wouldn't they? Admittedly, they're more likely to hide tax rises in other things too, but doesn't mean they can't raise VAT

Yeah, cos everyone would vote for someone who said they were going to raise VAT...

duh...

The liberal democrats can only get away with proposing a (scandalous) 50% top rate tax band for earnings over £100k because it doesn't affect anybody except the people who can be bothered to work hard enough and are intelligent enough to make that much money. Labour's plans to get rid of grammar schools in order to dumb everyone down to the same moronic level are frankly terrifying, however I reckon the best thing for the country is that labour win this one, because the mess they've made of the economy (which was in very good shape when they inherited it off the Conservatives in 1997 - budget surpluses compared to a massive deficit now and good investment ratio) will mean that everything goes to ratshit and I wouldn't want any other party to take the blame for it especially not the conservatives.

guess which party i'll be voting for...
