its breast cancer day tomorrow (28th october). i was thinking how i could make a decent discussion out of this fact, and it occured to me that tomorrow night is a massive pink party at my uni club (its going to be AMAZING).

so is pink gay, or is it just plain badass? i firmly think its the latter. also, feel free to discuss the fact that it is breast cancer day tomorrow.

I have a bit of pink on one of my t-shirts (which is mainly brown), but that's about it

Is pink gay? Not necessarily, though often yes. It's more femenine than gay. Isn't purple the national gay colour or something?

is there really a difference between a moral crusade that has no effect (eg. live 8) and a breast cancer awareness campaign?

getting everyone to wear pink doesn't bring people closer to a cure for cancer, and i'm pretty sure most people know that there is such a thing as cancer but theres not much they can do about it.

is there any point? or is it just a good theme for a party?

I could just walk around naked......

It's times like these you see why it's better to not be black. Although i suppose it's better to be black at funerals.....

whilst we're near the topic, has anyone heard of prussian blue?

they're a pop band in america. two 13 yr olds who sing songs of white supremacy and wear swastikas. its really surreal.
