that's bollocks - you're inhaling smoke into your lungs - that's NEVER good. What's more, when you make a joint you mix the weed with tobacco - hence it's every bit as (if not more, mostly) carcinogenic (cancer-causing) than normal cigarettes.
as for the psychosis, there's still a fair bit doubt about those effects

Yes, in fact a single joint is worse for you than a single cigarette.
The difference is you don't smoke 20 joints in a day (well, most people don't), where as lots of cigarette smokers do. Most people i know only smoke a few joints a week at max, so overall, the effect, relative to cigarettes at least, is very small

also you don't use filters to smoke weed so more of the smoke gets into your lungs
