does anyone know any decent animation software i dont have to pay (much) for?

i want to make a decent banner for SD.

does photoshop do animations?

Flash is obviously the bets animation software. If you describe what kinda things you want to do, it'll help with giving advice. Like making a GIF, phasings and stuff or a cartoon type thing?

Well, these days, alot of people like to explore graphics, and unless they're working for a company, they're not gonna get the tools they need. So people tend to get it the "other" way, if you know what I mean. How do you think I made all those sigs in the "Sigs you have made" thread? I use Imageready, for simple animatations, but I'm pretty sure you can get some decent ones happening with it.

And Jizzmoper, I see you're with deviantART. :angry:

i know about imageready, but i cant find it anywhere to download. i just need a program which i can get a free trial of straight off the net.

Hmm, I pretty sure Imageready comes with Photoshop... correct me if I'm wrong.

it comes with photoshop, but not with photoshop elements.

Jasc Animation Shop is probably better for that kind of thing, if you have the base images. Like for transitions between pioctures and text and stuff.
