and they only had like 2 songs. and weren't that buff.

in my top 100 played songs, the following i wouldn't classify as rock...

slow jamz - twista
hoodie - lady sovereign
everytime - britney spears
tears and rain - james blunt
the show - girls aloud
maybe i'm amazed - jem
dice - finley quay
neverending story - limahl
thugs mansion - tupac
sway - bic runga

and then there's loads of indie stuff like razorlight, hard-fi, killers, interpol, postal service, nine black alps, babyshambles (killimangiro - its a great song. unlike everything else they've done). but i count that as rock.

my favourite non-rock band is probably girls aloud though. i love the way they manage to include lyrics like 'hung around the kitchen in my underwear' and 'check out my negligé' and 'come taste my kisses in the night'. they're hilarious. they rock.

I still like some rap from when I used to listen to it. Some Tupac, Outkast, Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot and that kind of stuff, I just don't listen to too much of it anymore. And yeah, the 80s pop, most of which is really cheesy, but good.
hysterical and useless

take on me - aha

so so good. overall i'm not a big fan of 80s pop though.

i listen to a fair bit of tupac, eminem, cypress hill, bit of fiddy, gym class heroes, aesop rock, benefit, kanye west...

there are times when rock music just doesn't suit your mood/activity.

e.g. its better to listen to dance/trance/hip hop in the gym. i like a bit of aqua, i monster, fragma, chemical brothers...

you're funny guy. and by funny guy i mean cunt. all those songs ROCK. and my favourite bands are perfectly respectable choices, I'll have you know. you're just bitter because you know that your favourite band aren't the best but you refuse to admit it.

i don't know if this post sounds angry, but its meant to be genial.

:o

see?

I just took a dump, and poo actually came down in the form of the names of those artists, then a dash, then the song names. Therefore, they are actually shit. And having bands that are respectable is not the point. It's to believe they're good. And if you need to point out they're respectable to convince yourself of that, go ahead y0. Also, I'm glad you "know" what I think better than I do. You'd make a better me. Wooooaaah! I thought that was one field that I could kick people's ass in.

na my case is rested as it is won, surely only a fool or a terrorist would go against my findings.tell me what the bitter taste of defeat is like, for i can taste only the sweetness of victory.abuse me more to your folly as it only strengthens my resolve, you weak inept cretinous pondlife

i will say no more on the matter until I see fit, rather like the lord of the manor throwing scraps to the uneducated peasants.now scurry away to your inadequate brothels of lower learning. for you cease to amuse me

Ignoring Indie as a sort of form of rock, I'm really into the disco classics at the moment.

"Girls jus' wanna have fun"

And a bit of trance too if I'm pissed.
This is the modern way.

Brian Wilson [formerly of the Beach Boys] and his band, also the best live band I've ever seen, bar none, well worth the £56
