Foo Fighters are set to play their biggest ever gig in the UK with a huge show in Hyde Park this summer.

The band will play to 60,000 people in the London park on June 17 with tickets for the date going on sale on February 11.

Support acts for the show will be announced shortly.

Foo Fighters are currently planning an acoustic tour of the US accompanied by pianist Rami Jaffee, percussionist Drew Hester and multi-instrumentalist Petra Haden.

if anyone's buying a ticket, it's definately worth spending the extra money on golden circle if there is one, you may as well get the best experience you can

I wouldn't go if I couldn't get/afford golden circle - I really don't see the point paying all that money to see a band then standing half a mile away from the stage

no there's probably more than a small amount. try A LOT. i mean, the Foos aren't that amazing, but you'd do well to find a fraction of a million bands better than them. and i doubt you could see more than about 100 bands for the same price as a foos ticket, and some of them (the support acts) probably wouldn't be as good.
rock music is kewl

Well done on the deduction that I made a slight exaggeration. Kudos on both your deduction skills.
