i thought it was a pretty reasonable comment; didn't sound particularly angry or anything. and its true too.

and curtis - sorry. must have misread your post. i thought the last line of it was 'agnosticism is passé'. weird.

i know this isn't a religion thread but i was just wondering if anyone could clear up this little problem i have

the sun like all stars is eventually going to expand, as it does this it will engulf the earth

why would God do that?

it leaves me with 3 possible conclusions

1. God doesn't exist
2. God isn't benevolent
3. God isn't omnipotent

could anyone clear this up for me?

the main problem i'd have if someone said that to me would be that it says quite clearly that God is "well pleased" with people

if He's pleased why would He want to kill them off?

doesn't that seem a little weird?

In fairness, I think the human race will be long gone by the time the sun expands to such an extent that it would kill us all

i hope the apocalypse dosnt happen before tomorrow,i want to see if anyone found my coat at the last fastlane gig
na my case is rested as it is won, surely only a fool or a terrorist would go against my findings.tell me what the bitter taste of defeat is like, for i can taste only the sweetness of victory.abuse me more to your folly as it only strengthens my resolve, you weak inept cretinous pondlife

i will say no more on the matter until I see fit, rather like the lord of the manor throwing scraps to the uneducated peasants.now scurry away to your inadequate brothels of lower learning. for you cease to amuse me

Paddy, you could come and look for yourself on Thursday in Aldershot, but it's likely to be sold out. If you turn up I'll see what I can do. Was it a tan leather bomber jacket with a fur collar?
