i think its pretty funny that they react to a picture of an arab with a bomb on his head by causing more violence and throwing grenades.
also, an iranian paper launches a contest to draw cartoons about the holocaust;

every religion has been caricatured and made fun of, why do these muslims have to be the only ones to react so violently?

the paper had previously rejected jesus cartoons saying "it could offend a lot of people".

i think that's hilarious, one of the most outrageous reactions ever
isn't it against muslim religious doctrine to draw pictures of mohammed though? which is why they took such offence

Personally I think the cartoon of mohammed was an outrageously offensive thing to do, and probably wrong - although i personally have no problem with it. Also, any violence in response to it just demonstrates stupidity as it proves the cartoonist's point (kinda)

True, but it kind of ruins the whole logic when they are waving papers with stuff like "fuck freedom of speech" written during the protests, doesn't it?
I think this is absolutely ridiculous and it comes to remind Europe how much the Islamic world in general doesn't care about our diplomacy and democracy and that they are ready to attack us because of anything.

islam refuses to integrate into other societies because they are wrong. islam always stands out.
the current government, in appeasement mode, is changing all kinds of legislation to accommodate muslims. e.g. the prison system. unlike other prisoners, all muslims must be let out of their cells 5 times a day to pray. they must also have halal food, which is much better quality than the normal stuff in prisons. (this has lead to a lot of hardened criminals converting to islam for an easier time in prison. of course, the muslim criminals they hang out with in prison won't let them drop the religion when they leave - all criminals are slowly becoming muslim). also, pension and investment laws have been altered recently to allow for muslims to invest in accordance with sharia law.
prominent muslims press for further reforms, with threats of suicide bombings, and the government complies - its all a bit hitleresque really.
all muslims live together in the concentrated areas, until virtually everyone in the area is muslim. this means there are halal shops, no partial nudity advertising boards etc. the local council is forced to consider everything from a muslim perspective if they want to be re-elected.
40% of muslims say they want sharia law in britain. in predominantly muslim areas, many say they are willing to fight to have it installed - with accusations of infringing religious freedom or islamophobia if they are not given sharia law in their area.
and that's basically it. i was pretty pissed off by the end of the article. page 15 - 16 sunday telegraph. tomorrow.

This is really just another example of positive discrimination, and is kind of rediculous, but tbh, I'd imagine the article was exaggerated, etc to enforce mainly this point of view. The threat of islam taking over the country is, lets face it, nil, and laws aren't really going to be changed that much. The article, or at least what you say brings up interesting points, but it isn't going to keep me up at night
Most importantly, were there any spelling mistakes?
