vote and discuss.

do you feel we should fund it and that it is helpful, or is it morally wrong?

im for it... its research, the more we can find out about the way we work the better IMO. if it can cure genetic diseases and infertility then im for it.

there needs to be limits though. i just hope is doesnt go too far.

I'm for it -basically what helen said

manipulation for cosmetic/non-medical purposes. something like huntingdon's disease could be treated in this way... its the only way to treat it, but i dont agree embryos should be manipulated in any way other than to lead a normal life, and have healthy children.

for it until we can render adult stem cells more viable for this kind of work. it should be possible (but obviously if you're not allowed to work with embryonic stem cells, you'll never know enouh about them to copy them...)

I don't think there is any reason to be against it. The republicans just havn't found a way to make enough money off of it yet.

I am brainless apparently because I'm undecided.

I am for it because it has potential to cure disease and who doesn't want to find a cure?

I am against it because of the potential life being messed with. That embryo could've been some scientist or inventor that would create and discover things humanity could benefit from. That embryo would never get a chance to be somebody. Also stem cells are found in the placenta so instead of using human embryos those stem cells could be used for research.
