Snow patrol are one of my favourite bands and their album is one of those which you just pop on in the background and hum along to, as someone said its an easy listen and thats why they're so popular.

I agree with misteri, some of the songs are quite good like Spitting Games, Run etc, but I'd only listen to it sparingly and when i was in a more mellow kinda mood.

It's not really my kinda thing but they are ok, I did see them live and they weren't too bad, "Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking" is a great song though.

I think snow patrol are a very good band although it did take a few listens to get into the Final Straw album. I also have their 'when its all over we still have to clear up' album which is also good but some of the songs are just a short song repeated over twice to make a full length track which is a bit disappointing, but the album is still listenable with some good stanout tracks again. Final Straw is still better tho. Its just easy listening
