how about stopping all security at airports so that noone need be offended or segregated into different risk categories, that way we can have the skies full of planes full of happy unchecked "people"with thier human rights unviolated, because in these dire times god forbid we put national security above the feelings of a minority
na my case is rested as it is won, surely only a fool or a terrorist would go against my findings.tell me what the bitter taste of defeat is like, for i can taste only the sweetness of victory.abuse me more to your folly as it only strengthens my resolve, you weak inept cretinous pondlife

i will say no more on the matter until I see fit, rather like the lord of the manor throwing scraps to the uneducated peasants.now scurry away to your inadequate brothels of lower learning. for you cease to amuse me

I'm more concerned about SNAKES ON THE PLANE than I am about airport security getting their feelings hurt by suppressive people of non-white ethnicity.
This is the modern way.

So glad I didn't go to France before America as there's NO WAY I'd let the guitar I got there go into luggage handling... but I may have been able to explain that it was my 'medical kit'. I would have probably have a nervous breakdown if it wasn't with me :P

Morally, I think the concept of targetting muslims, etc is probably wrong. BUT, I also think it is probably the correct thing to do, as logically it makes sense. I also think the majority of Muslims will, even if they don't like it, accept it.

It's obviously not quite the same, but as a teenager I get treated with more suspicin than I did when I was younger by security guards. I obviously don't like it, because they're pre-judging me, and that is unfair on me. ut then I also understand that you will get a higher proportion of shoplifters being teenagers

i know a guy, a british asian, who got spot-searched six times in one day, in london - stuff like that's just ridiculous.

Also, is there any eidence of spot-searching having been effective even once in the current war on terra?

No. It's a waste of time. You get fined for wasting police time but they just waste their own too much.

How about the thing where a woman was found on-board with matches and face cream? She was found because she was walking up and down the rows (think she had some kind of mental problem). Anyway, they stopped the plane in Boston (wrong airport) and took out all the luggage and got dogs to search it. THAT is stupid.

well, they're usually done by men (if you're a man).

i'm flying to tokyo on tuesday, but to be honest i'd rather they still had the uber strict regulations because that way i'd actually feel safe. and i think virgin atlantic have a pretty good entertainment system. on the news they said that the terrorist group planned to bomb the planes, wait until the dust settles and security returns to normal, then bomb again and again, creating a consistent risk to air travel. if they reduce security now, surely they're asking for trouble? on the other hand maybe they're trying to minimise the disruptions, and hence minimise the satisfaction of the terrorists.

i'd say you have to watch all these damn shoftlifters, but hey I don't actually feel better when a white guy jacks me than when a muslim does. Though neither has happened.

If the average Jew jacked me, I'd probably be a little more pissed off because on average their incomes are no doubt higher and therefore they need whatever they took from me less. Though I doubt there are many Jewish pety street robbers.
