I like Kanye just because he kind of has a new orleans jazz feel to his stuff.

i like the way west stands there gesticulating and saying "yeah, yeah" while sampling someone elses tunes, pure genius, what talent.Mozart must be glad he is dead for surely such creations were way beyond him

kanye west is really whiney. no one likes him. who wants to listen to rap music about "real" issues? i'm all about the gangs, thugs, bitches, gats and hoes. and eminem really is quite talented. 'rock bottom' is sooo good.
rock music is kewl

i prefer real music, though it must be said mnm is rather good, probably because of the influence of Dr dre

I know a hell of a lot about Rap, and really, Kanye is an awful rapper, and average producer, Eminem is a weak producer, and USED to be a supurb Rapper.

It's an odd thing to say, but early on (with the marshall mathers lp, and before it The Real Slim Shady) Eminem was actually a very good rapper. Trying at all costs to be provocative rather than deep or meaningful sure... but the rap was good, and the songs were great. He's terribly uncool now but I think with time people will appreciate it again. It might be interesting to think about what, if any, impact he's had on music today
