by your standards i guess mama i'm coming home isn't metal either....and as far as britney spears ...everyone can remember her songs go around the public and ask people to name three dio songs and see how many people actually remember him.....they will remember him for kickapoo...by tenacious d ....he didn't even write it

I was talking about that song. Not having to do with the album. And yes I would classify Nothing Else Matter's as a metal song. Do you hear an acoustic guitar and piano and soft drums and soft bass and all that soft crap in it? No. You can still rock out to Nothing Else Matter's. Sieze The Day you can't. The same with Warmness On The Soul or whatever it's called.

I didn't use record sales on liking them. He said that Dio sucks. And Dio has gathered enough fans and sold enough records to prove that he does not suck. That he is actually a good musician. That has nothing to do with liking.

Led Zeppelin never had top record sales when they were touring and recording, there highest song on the billboard top 10 was Whole Lotta Love at 3. But they're known today as one of the greatest and most influential rock bands of all-time. Numbers can't prove everything.

Actually I just said that they do. Because they didn't have above a top 10 doesn't mean they weren't good. I said RECORD SALES!!! Not what people rated the songs.

then what would you classify them as? sound of the seventh trumpet is hardcore, ill give you that. but waking the fallen and city of evil are metal albums. they started off as more of a hardcore punk band because thats what was popular in LA where they are from. but they have matured and are have moved into the metal classification
