I couldn't do photoshop to save my life.
That sucks. Anyway, Charity bands, as well as all those other bands are annoying. (even if for charity) I think "charity" is a nicer way of saying "someone who didn't gave a damn about their success and expect others to donate money to them".
I mean Damn! How do you think poor people came to be anyway? Getting fired? No, Because to get fired you have to do something bad in your job, whatever that is. And not being able to get a job is just not being prepared, whether in schooling, experience and blah-blah-blah!!

Now that makes ME sick!

Ok, I started, but it's such a hideously boring thing to draw a 'band' that I quit. I got the basic shape part done, but no shading or anything and edging of the sides. Sorry, it was just too boring.

if you use a vertical gradient you get the shading

also the edge is easy with just a darker ellipse

the lettering's the hardest bit to do

it's a very good point!! which brings us back to why i "stole and edited very slightly" the band rather than making it from scratch

Not the most excitin of things to be doing with ya life is it.
tbh what ya have so far is comparable to my effort in MSPaint... What a classic program it is. Took me 2 mins, and not that boring! Maybe we don't need Adobe, oh wait, Paint sucks. B)

Actually I think painting is much better. When you paint you are working with nothing but what is in your head. In photoshop, you have a picture of something that may not be as it seems. I don't mean any bad will on it but I just don't perfer it.

Someone tell the guy what MSPaint is
I don't believe I said anything against painting B)

But now that you've mentioned it, you can 'paint' in Photoshop if you wish to B)

wolfie, you can start an image from scratch in photoshop, just like you can also copy pictures when painting

and if you're not kidding about mspaint then it's a really old photoshop type program which just has draw and rub out and stuff like that

Man I wish photoshop was an A-level. I usually only use Photoshop to colour things in, that is until I get a kickas tablet.
