Why isn't anyone comparing Twisted Sister to AC/DC...even better, why isn't anyone comparing Pantera to Smashing Pumpkins!

Avenged Sevenfold is decent, but AC/DC is better, doesn't matter how sick I am of hearing a band if they're music is more memorable then to me it's better.

Why not compare Pantera to Smashing Pumpkins? Honestly, that's a tough comparison. I don't think I have a Pantera CD that I like as much as Siamese Dream, (and it's really close) but overall I think Pantera put out the more consistent catalog, and I can't give Smashing Pumpkins "bonus points" for trying to be more creative, because I personally don't think any of their "creative" albums were on par with their early stuff, OR any other bands who chose the same career path and did a much better job of it. But this is the "metal" foler, I won't mention any of them..

Why not compare Pantera to Smashing Pumpkins that would be fun just for shits and giggles. To me that is honestly a tough comparison. I don't think I have a Pantera CD that I like as much as Siamese Dream, (and it's really close) but overall I think Pantera put out the more consistent catalog, and I can't give Smashing Pumpkins bonus points for trying to be more creative, personally I think their "creative" albums look mediocre next to their early stuff, not to mention any of the other bands (like Radiohead, for example) who took a similiar change in direction and did a much better job of it. Ok, sorry, I'm talking about bands who don't belong here again..
