Okies, since nobody has voted you either are completely uninterested in the topic of religion or you dont know what the words mean;
Athiest- Doesn't believe in God
Thiest- Does believe in God
Agnostic- Doesn't know what he/she believes

That's me. If the existence of God has never been proved, that doesn't mean there isn't one. I refuse to just believe that there is no God - that's as irrational as believing there is one.

Maybe its my *scientific* mind - but I like to have physical evidence for something before I believe it...

ah, but do you believe in life after love?
i can feel something inside me saying "I really don't think you're strong enough, no"
anyway i'm atheist depsite a reasonably xtian upbringing. i just think scientific fact is too strong these days. the bible is obviously hugely metaphorical but i think its primary purpose was to control huge numbers of people who were likely to kick off than act as an actual creed for its authors.

It also can't mean you are 'in the fence for everything' It's just that you may choose not to belive in this particular thing, some thnigs that aren't completely proved (eg the Big Bang) are more plausable, so one chooses to believe, while others (eg the pink unicorn) are less plausable, so u choose not to believe. while some are halfway, in this case the question of god, so u remain undecided, possible leaning one way or the other as i do

Also what's stupid about the pink unicorn? It wouldn't conflict with the facts of the world as much as god would.

I find very amusing the hypocrisy of atheists attacking godbelievers because of their use of blind belief and faith in something they can't even prove exists - do you see why that's hypocritical?

dude... surely uve got it wrong there.
even if you cant prove something, you can still BELIEVE in it because thats what you think. it would only be stupid if you believe something that was proved wrong. BELIEVING is just thinking something that cant necessarily be proved.
the fact that you cant prove it doesnt matter... do you believe that there is a god or not? because thats all that matters.

Assumptions can often prove true, sure - for example I consider it very likely that God doesn't exist. Hence in my opinion atheism > theism, and in debates I will always defend the atheist p.o.v
