Science deals with the material yes... not just physical atoms an molecules, but energy, waves, particles so tiny they just float through everything unaffected.. and even particles that only exist for the tiniest amount of time before they are annihilated. If there was any 'higher being' affecting us externally.. scientists would know about it. Things just dont happen without a cause... its all down to the transfer of energy. Therefore... if there is anything happening out there that we dont know about, the chances are its so tiny, or so distant, it cant affect us.
So the physical existance of god is pretty unlikely really!
There is however the idea that 'god' exists only in the mind of beleivers, but that wouldnt explain the power than all religions claim ther god has. Theres only so much of an effect that internal thoughts can cause... no-body knows how much, but they certainly cant create the universe!

why would scientists know about a higher being?
and also why does God have to be a physical being? just because you can't understand something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist

what then, is existance?
What im saying.. is that for anything to have an effect on human life there must be a transfer of energy. Where is this energy?

Christians believe that God exists outside of time and space, and therefore nothing he does has to work by the laws we have found govern our universe.

i dont know when liberalists came into existence, and im impressed you do. can you tell me when they did exactly?
Sorry Princess, I don't have an exact date for you. But it's common sense that the number of them increase after each BS in the Bible is proved wrong.
Also on that note, I fucking HATE Kanye West and wish he'd die.

Did you really think the answers to all arguements over religion would be found on this website? Man has argued for thousands of year over it i mean just look at jerusalem and all that malarkey round there. Its all just a big mess. Probably will never be sorted.
