i think calling it a game is a bit unfair

if you take it at face value as a joke then i think it's actually quite good

Firebase isn't too bad once u realise what the hell is going on, what you are meant to do, and how you control everyone

as in:
- there's a war on
- u control a load of GIs who have to kill as many gooks as possible
- u click each man and double click to make him go there
- send everyone to the bunker in the middle, radio for a supply crate there, then go do something else.

Which one's the radio man?!

However it's not really 1D, A 1D game would simply be a dot with no dimensions. There would be no characters, no gameplay, no graphics.....
Except for the dot.....
And no story.....
Except for the fact that the dot is named Gerald.

Does that make the dot a character?

they can't, but that's not the point

and SHP technically a line has 2 dimensions unless it has no thickness and is either invisible or non existant, either way it can't really be classed as a line

A line is infintessimally thin...hence 1 dimension

Look, it's impossible to actually get a one-dimensional thing, but in THEORY it is possible

if you want to argue about a line being 1-dimensional you're going the wrong way about it, a line either has a thickness or it doesn't.

a line is one dimensional in that it only extends in one direction but in that case you have to admit that 1-D tetris is also one dimensional given that it only moves vertically

not necessarily, it may only move in one direction, but it does not noecessarily make the blocks one dimensional

no, the movement of the blocks is, not the game in it's entirety
