Gilli Moon's music is young and positive at its core. Building beautifully simple songs upon basic structuring and ideas, her album The Stillness is a pleasant and effortlessly easy-listening record. Her gentle piano playing offers a soft frame for her to paint her picture upon. Supported by subtle synthetic pads and a small rock combo, Moon's music is poppy and fun.

Fusing singer-songwriter simplicity with a modern pop edge, Gilli Moon is certainly a bright star in the world of modern indie pop. Moon's music is reminiscent of A Fine Frenzy and Anna Nalick; simple, pleasant, and easy to enjoy. Bringing a new sense of passion and sophistication to the world of modern music, Gilli Moon is sure to continue to bring us surprisingly insightful and addictive music.
