The duality of man refers to people's ability to do or believe something while simultaneously also doing or believing something contradictory.
Killing Germans in WWII is a fairly good example, because by killing German soldiers and not Hitler himself the Allies were essentially murdering one set of innocent people to protect another (admittedly more vulnerable, but no less valuable).
It revolves around the idea that some things only appear as two opposites when they are in fact similar in many ways, in this case the thin line between good and evil.
this pondering was in no way inspired by the Crazy Frog.

in the crazy frog thread, the duality of man referred to the duality of Man as a species - as in different people can have extreme, opposite feelings about the same thing.

I thought dualism was the mind-body problem as postulated by Descartes in his meditations. As in, do we have a separate mind that is intrinsically different from our bodies? Anyway, philosophy blows.
