Well, everyone (except me) was raving off them at the time, and their distinctly average songs like 'Matinee' were getting ridiculous airplay... now that the craze faze seems to have died away, what do you guys think of FF, and are they here to stay?

Well I really like the album (now, I didn't use to but that was an oversight), and they were awesome at Reading last year so I can see them sticking around for a bit longer yet...

I think they're a pretty good band, a few good songs, quite good live performers, there's noo reason they shouldn't stay, although you can never be sure, although to be honest, although I like them, they're not THAT great

yeah. they are ridiculously average. they should have had their day in the sun, and although radio now knows who they are, i don't think they'll become a major world band. they'll be playing T4 rock beach-type events for the rest of their career.

ive gone steadily off their album, this could be due to the fact that it has been completly overplayed.
But i think they may be around for a bit, just coz their stuff is good, all they need to do is get some new stuff out that hasnt been done to a death.
Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

the fact is they're average, but people nowadays are settling for mediocrity and also you get people who start saying people who are good at the guitar are just show-offs

...hence metallica having no solos on st anger. the fashion is for adequate garage rock, like the white stripes, hives, franz ferdinand etc. but older bands who could actually play their instruments were generally better than today's stuff.

As everyone's said, pretty average. A few catchy songs, too image centred though.

They are very bland and nothing special. I don't know what all the hypes about. All my friends love them and I just don't see why.
