Anyway going back to topic..... The new Oasis album is out in a couple of weeks and i will pretty much guarantee you the fact it will be better than the one Blur will be releasing. It will be better than the Gorillaz one too. Unless shaun ryder has written it for them.

hmm i've been listening to it tonight and while it's not bad it lacks the catchy tunes of Heathen Chemistry, and definitely doesn't reach the heights of any of their earlier works.

apart from the single Lyla, the best tracks imho are Love Like A Bomb and A Bell Will Ring.

i'll have a listen to Gorillaz tomorrow and see what i make of Demon Days.

I listened to the new album with Adamski, and in my opinion he is being generous by describing it as not bad. It is boring, formulaic and repetitive, and shows that Oasis really have run out of ideas. I reserve judgement on the Gorillaz album but I have much higher expectations of it.

I must admit not even i, a die hard oasis fan, am raving off their new album. For me it sounds different to the traditional oasis tracks as if they have attempted to take their mucis in another direction by making slower more ballad type songs. I must say i am not a fan of this as the tunes are no longer singalongable whoch all the best oasis tunes were.

There have been so many beatles comparisons to oasis so i will make yet another. This is Oasis' magical mystery tour. Which was the first beatles album that didnt do absolutely undoubtedly well like the previous ones for all you heathens.

One difference is i quite like the magical mystery tour album as in quite a few tracks off it but Don't believe the truth i am not so sure.

Yeah i saw that they were pretty damn good. I think somewhere i read they were making their new album very "Who" like so it was probably something to do with that.

I like it at the end where Ross went over to shake their hands and they just walked off into the back.

Not really. Jonathan Ross is a bit of a tosser on his show where he absolutely kisses the arse of the person that is on. So when he went over to them like that it was good to see them making a point rather than just shaking his hand.

that is true with wossy, especially seeing as he usually rinses them the next week, but tbh he did let them on his show and it's extra promotion for them so it wouldn't hurt to be polite, they didn't even have to go out of their way

Not really rude is it. You shouldnt be forced to shake someones hand because hes looking to be associated with someone who is cool.

Also in my opinion rock stars shouldnt have manners it makes them much more amusing and interesting.

Err... actually is generally considered rude to not shake an offerec hand, but then i suppose you are from manchester where public urination, spitting, etc are commonplce, so you probably have lower standards

You see thats just stupid. If someone offers to shake your hand and you think they are an utter twat you dont do it do you? You see all those things that you suggested are wrong but i know for a fact that you must come from a place where people are too spineless to actually show what they think of people if you just go round shaking anybodys hand that offers it to you.

Anyway this is not the topic and is a bit boring really.
