well according to Blabbermouth the man behind the satanic hand gesture would infact be John Lennon!

they even have a picture to back it up

what do you make of that?

i doubt hes actually trying to make 'devil horns' with his hands, its john lennon.
just look at the other members of the band. paul mccartney is making a gesture saying "all is fine" or something and the other two are indicating that they live in a yellow submarine. does it seem like would john lennon be trying to say he worships the devil?

no it's not whether or not john lennon is a satanist or not or whether he meant to do "devil horns" it's just he was the first person in "rock" to use that sign not gene simmons or dio

I think it's a stupid statment. The gesture is quite basic, it probably exists at thousands of years, it probably had been used by other musicians decades before, who knows? Just because they got an old picture from the 60's where a known musician does that sign it doesn't mean he was the first. To me what really matters in the devil's horns hand sign is who first did it with the intention to represent the devil's horns and that would be Ronny James Dio. Now go smoke crack and listen to Behemoth, raise thy horns and worship Satan! \m/ :D
