QOTSA are, to me, like The Foo Fighters, in that I cant realy find much wrong with them, but I've  yet to hear a decent song by them, whereas Green Day, over the years have made many good songs ,and after all, thats what its all about is it not?

Don't you mean they have done one song over and over again and tried to pull it off as something different. (Edit:Green Day this is)

Near enough every track sounds the bloody same!

That may be true for the foos slightly, but it's certainly not for QotSA! How can you say tou think i ain't worth a dollar but i feel like a millionaire sounds anything like everybody's gonna be happy or the lost art of keeping a secret?

I like listening to both QOTSA and Foo Fighters, what other bands out there are similar in style/genre?

If you like QOTSA, listen to the Desert Sessions albums - the guys from QOTSA get together with various other bands (Earthlings, PJ Harvey, Eagles Of Death Metal, Mark Lanegan) and make quality stoner rock. It can be a bit hit and miss, a bit like QOTSA, but the good bits really are worth the listen!

For music like QOTSA but more classic heavy rock, try Kyuss - an imperfect band, definitely, but some great riffs; for example the song Mudfly; awesome riff, but the song as a whole is pretty basic and gets boring

Bradleys right. QOTSA was borne of Kyuss as Josh Homme developed his style. Kyuss are the perfect stoner rock.
