What are you thoughs? I think it's pretty damn good (then again, I think all QOTSA stuff is god's kind gift to mankind, so I might be a bit biased)... "In My Head" is going to be a major hit, quite clearly

Followed up by 'Little Sister' - a song familiar to many already, top notch. To complete the core of the album, "I Never Came" is deep and relaxing. I reckon the quality of the songs fades towards the end of the album, however.

It's certainly more experimental than Song For The Deaf - it's not going to be anywhere near as popular, quite clearly. Even so, it's good company for it and the other two great QOTSA albums, Rated R and the self-titled album.

How do you guys rate Lullabies to Paralyze?

Haven't heard it yet. I bought Songs for the Deaf on a whim, and was incredibly impressed, so am hoping this will be of a similar quality
"You and Wilson have my skills, Mr Hayden. In return, I received a taste for Radiohead and an encyclopedic knowledge of pornographic knock-knock jokes. Yes, I'd like to switch back if possible"

a tad annoying, this is true. Not something you want to listen to when, for example, you want to listen to 'Millionaire'

Thankfully there's none of that on Lullabies! Although there is a strange lullby at the start of the album :P

This album has really grown on me, as has the band, as has that rash your mum gave me

Definitely worth checking out - the album, that is.

Took me a few listens to get into this album, it's not as catchy as some of the others, apart from the track Little Sister. Now though, really into it in a big way.

I'm not as into it as I was Songs for the Deaf, but it's still a decent album. Little Sister as has been mentioned was a horrible track the first time I heard it, but I've gotten to really like it. The album's not the classic 'QOTSA-Rock Fantasy line-up', it's more just Josh Homme. Still worth buying though.

Dave.
