Well, after looking into Rush (which I have to say, isn't quite my bag, though the talent is there) i reckon I'll move on to DP next... where to start?

Spins: Buffalo Springfield - Stop, children, what's that sound?

im listening to... Sound Devastation "Volume 2 : Epic Vs Experimental"

there is some amazing stuff on this one, so much better than Volume 1. Hopefully it'll get better reviews too!

other than that.... Mare, Mew (seeing them in two days!), Tool, the latest Rocksound CD, Hookers Green and Bullet Union.

rush are an extremely varied band, and no two songs sound the same (kinda like led zep). also their latter stuff apparently isnt much good. so by downloading the wrong tracks you could have got the wrong idea. if you havent already done so i suggest you listen to 2112 (its quite long but it doesnt get boring and the vocals are amazing). (also if you pay the same amount per song, then the longer the song, the better the value, right?).

Therion - Live In Midgard

I guarantee you: this is the best live album you will ever hear in your life.
Create a sense of purpose
Around which you base your faith
The doubt that haunts your skin
An itch that will linger on forever
